Markus is all about energy and enthusiasm in his work at McAdam. After graduating from the University of Mary Washington, he knew right away there was something more to economics than just spreadsheets. He wanted something fast-paced and dynamic that allowed him to work with people directly and have an impact. This led him to become a financial advisor— what he calls the perfect combination of analytical and interpersonal skills.
At McAdam, Markus meets with prospects and clients. He works to create financial plans, build thoughtful recommendations and help clients implement strategies. His focus and experience include tax planning strategies, safe money strategies and retirement planning.
Markus and his wife Emma live on a farm in the Virginia countryside, where they are raising their daughter Hallie and son Berand. They have two dogs and love the peace and quiet of the area. Markus spends his free time outdoors and is fluent in two languages, English and Estonian.
